Gyeonggi Provincial Superintendent of Education Lim Tae-hee is attending the 'Future-Oriented Convergence Education (STEAM) Development Plan Workshop' held on the 17th at the National Gwacheon Science Museum in Gyeonggi Province, touring the exhibits with the participants.

On the 17th, Superintendent Lim attended the 'Future-Oriented Convergence Education (STEAM) Development Workshop' held at the National Gwacheon Science Museum in Gyeonggi Province, stating, "Excelling in one field is important, but creativity and innovation occur through convergence processes that connect expertise with expertise, leading to development on a new level," and explained, "Gyeonggi future education is moving in the direction of convergence education."
He continued, "We are also considering expanding the functions of training institutes to operate various teacher training and research programs for convergence education," promising, "We will discuss with students and teachers how to create future education and prepare effective measures."
He added, "We will make further efforts to ensure education is conducted in combination with good local resources such as the National Gwacheon Science Museum."

The workshop was jointly planned and hosted by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity to nurture convergence talents for future society, with sponsorship from the National Gwacheon Science Museum.
