WSI Appoints Vice President Yoonseok Lee as New CEO: "A Second Leap Forward Through Core Business Competitiveness"
WSI, a specialized company in pharmaceutical and medical device distribution, is embarking on its second leap forward under the leadership of CEO Lee Yoon-seok.
WSI announced on the 17th that it has appointed Lee Yoon-seok, Vice President of Sales at WSI, as its new CEO.
CEO Lee Yoon-seok holds a Master of Business Administration in Pharmacy (Pharm MBA) and a Doctorate in Public Health from Gachon University. He has held key positions at Wooridul Hospital, a specialized spine hospital. He previously served as CEO of World Spine Innovation (WSI’s predecessor) and has been Vice President of Sales at WSI since 2017.
The founder and former CEO, Park Jung-seop, will continue responsible management as the largest shareholder and registered executive. He will participate in major company decisions and provide management advisory support.
WSI has launched preparations for new business ventures. The first growth engine is the cardiovascular intervention procedure business. Building on the expertise and solid growth achieved in the spine and joint business, the company plans to enter the cardiovascular intervention market. It aims to successfully introduce globally proven promising technologies into the domestic market and achieve results.
