Controversy Over 'Cheolgeun Nulak' Ends as LH Jinju Headquarters Search Concludes
The search and seizure at the headquarters of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), which has been embroiled in controversy over missing reinforcement bars in so-called 'boneless apartments,' ended after 4 hours and 45 minutes.
According to LH on the 16th, the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crime Investigation Unit of the Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency began the search and seizure at LH's Jinju headquarters at 10:30 a.m. and concluded around 4:15 p.m.
The police reportedly seized related documents and materials from offices such as the Construction Safety Department and the Housing Structure Estimation Team.

Earlier, on the 4th, LH requested an investigation by the National Police Agency into companies involved in design, construction, and supervision of 15 rental and sale complexes where defective flat slab structures were confirmed, as well as internal employees responsible for related tasks, and also requested audits from the Fair Trade Commission and the Board of Audit and Inspection.
