Hi Investment & Securities Launches 'Hi Small Amount Treasury Bond Wrap' Sales
Hi Investment & Securities announced on the 16th that it is selling the 'Hi Small Amount Treasury Bond Wrap,' which seeks higher returns than market interest rates through small-amount treasury bond trading.
This product invests most of its assets in the National Housing Type 1 Bonds. The National Housing Type 1 Bonds are bonds issued by the government to finance the national housing project, and the principal is guaranteed with very high stability until Korea declares a default.
Utilizing the characteristics of the small-amount bond trading system, which allows bond purchases at relatively low prices, the strategy is to buy National Housing Type 1 Bonds at the reported price on the same day and sell them at the market price the next day to secure stable trading profits. Since the income generated from bond trading is tax-exempt, it also offers tax-saving benefits.
Cash assets, excluding the amount used to purchase treasury bonds, are managed entirely through repurchase agreements (RP) that allow for on-demand deposits and withdrawals, enabling customers to make withdrawals or deposits anytime without early termination fees.
A representative from Hi Investment & Securities explained, "This product stands out for its relatively high stability and profitability during periods of high interest rate volatility by utilizing small-amount treasury bonds," adding, "It can be terminated at any time without any penalties, making it suitable for short-term surplus fund management."
The subscription amount is 10 million KRW per person, and early termination is possible without separate fees, but only full termination is allowed.
