Seongnam City to Offer Free Vehicle Inspections on the 3rd of Next Month at City Hall Outdoor Parking Lot
Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will hold a free vehicle inspection event.
Seongnam City announced on the 16th that it will host a free vehicle inspection event on September 3rd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the outdoor parking lot of Seongnam City Hall in Yeosu-dong, Jungwon-gu.
Sponsored by Seongnam City and organized by the Gyeonggi-do Automobile Specialized Maintenance Business Association (KAPOS) Seongnam Branch, this event is planned to prevent accidents caused by vehicle malfunctions on the way home for Seongnam citizens ahead of the Chuseok holiday and to help ensure safe driving during the winter season.
150 KAPOS mechanics will inspect the engine room, brake pads and linings, battery, tires, and various parts of vehicles, and will replace defective wipers, headlights, brake light bulbs, and air conditioner filters free of charge.
They will also refill insufficient engine oil, washer fluid, coolant, brake oil, and tire air pressure, and issue inspection reports for vehicles requiring detailed checks.
However, rental cars, cargo trucks over 1 ton, commercial vehicles, and imported cars are excluded.
