Gwangju Science Museum Hosts Science School 'Predicting Traffic Accidents with AI?'
The National Gwangju Science Museum will hold the 'August Science School' at the Sang-sang Hall of the building on the 16th.
Professor Ryu Je-ha from the School of Convergence Technology at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) will be invited to give a lecture on the topic, "Can Artificial Intelligence Predict Traffic Accidents in Advance?"
The lecture will introduce artificial intelligence technology and explore how it can be used to predict car accidents.
The Science School is available for on-site admission after online pre-registration, and anyone from children to adults can participate for free.
Meanwhile, Professor Ryu earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Seoul National University, a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa. He is currently serving as a professor at GIST.
