View original imageThe city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is holding a contest to name the 'Single-Person Household Support Project' from the 14th to the 27th of this month. Any Suwon citizen interested in the project can participate.
To participate, citizens can go to the application board on the citizen participation platform 'Saebit Toktok,' select 'Suwon City Single-Person Household Support Project Naming Contest,' and submit their entry, or visit the Single-Person Household Support Team in the Women's Policy Division at the Suwon City Hall annex to submit their entry in person.
Suwon City will conduct a first-round screening to select 12 candidate entries, which will then be subject to an online vote from August 31 to September 9. The final winners, including one grand prize and two excellence awards, will be chosen by combining the results of the first-round screening and the online voting.
During the evaluation, Suwon City will assess suitability, popularity, usability, and originality.

A Suwon City official explained, "34.4% of all households in Suwon are single-person households," adding, "This contest was organized to reflect citizens' creative ideas in the Single-Person Household Support Project in line with the increasing trend of single-person households."
