Four Elementary School Juvenile Offenders Steal Electric Car While Charging and Crash...3 Flee
In Daejeon, four elementary school students classified as juvenile offenders stole a charging electric car, caused an accident, and three of them fled.
The Yuseong Police Station in Daejeon announced on the 12th that they apprehended A (12), who was driving the stolen electric car and caused the accident, and are currently tracking the other three who were in the car.
According to the police, all of them are sixth-grade classmates, and around 10:10 a.m. that day, they were driving without a license on a road in Oesam-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, and are suspected of crashing into a signboard with a price tag placed in front of a nearby gas station.
Earlier, they noticed that the door of an electric car being charged in a parking lot near a residential area in Yuseong-gu was open, got inside the car, took the steering wheel, and caused the accident due to inexperience in driving.

The police are investigating the detailed circumstances of the accident while searching for the whereabouts of the other three with the parents, as they are juvenile offenders under the age of 14.
