Committed Crime Harboring Grudge for Being 'Ignored'
A man in his 60s who stabbed a village female leader, who even took care of his own son, more than 100 times with a weapon and killed her has been arrested and indicted. The motive for the murder was "because she ignored him." On the 11th, the Criminal Division 2 of the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office Masan Branch (Chief Kim Sang-jun) indicted Mr. A on these charges.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing the victim multiple times with a weapon at the residence of a woman in her 50s, Ms. B, in Haman-gun, Gyeongnam, on July 18. The weapon wounds on Ms. B's body numbered about 100. Mr. A repeatedly sexually harassed her by hugging her or visiting her home without permission. When Ms. B began to avoid him, Mr. A harbored resentment, saying "She is ignoring me." Eventually, after a quarrel, he committed the crime and fled to a nearby mountain but later surrendered to the police.
