Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, expressed his gratitude to the citizens for their active cooperation in disaster response to Typhoon 'Khanun' through a letter of appreciation posted on the city hall website on the 11th.
Typhoon No. 6 'Khanun' brought heavy rain to the Changwon area, with an average of 259.5mm (maximum 329.8mm in Seongsan District) over two days from the 9th to the 10th, but there were no casualties.
