LS Cable & System invests 155.5 billion KRW in subsea cable facilities
"Responding to Submarine Cable Demand"
LS Cable & System announced on the 10th that it will invest an additional approximately 155.5 billion KRW in its Donghae City plant in Gangwon Province to expand its submarine cable equipment infrastructure.
This measure is to smoothly respond to the rapidly increasing demand for submarine cables as large-scale offshore wind power projects are being actively launched in the global energy market.

An LS Cable & System official stated, "Trillion-won scale projects are being promoted in the global market due to carbon neutrality policies, etc.," adding, "Through additional investment, we plan to enhance our submarine cable production capabilities and respond to the rapidly growing market demand."
