Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Announces Personnel Changes for 351 Principals, Vice Principals, and Specialists
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education carried out personnel appointments on the 10th for 351 individuals including principals, directors, vice principals, vice directors, and education specialists, effective September 1.
In this personnel move, 170 principals and directors, 98 vice principals and vice directors, 35 supervisors and education researchers, and 48 educational officers and researchers were promoted, transferred, or reassigned.
By level, 11 moved within kindergartens, 168 within elementary schools, and 172 within secondary schools.
This personnel appointment emphasized "providing equal opportunities and fair personnel management," introducing a competency-centered personnel system including evaluations for appointment by education superintendents and assessments for autonomous future education leading districts such as Yeongam Education Superintendent evaluations.
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education self-assessed that the personnel appointments for education specialists were strategically placed to promote key educational policies of the Jeonnam education transformation and to strengthen school support by deploying individuals capable of drawing out the competencies of diverse members in appropriate positions.

We plan to carry out personnel administration that supports an environment where teachers can focus on teaching students.”
