Injury Charge for Obstruction of Special Official Duties
The police have requested an arrest warrant for a man in his 50s who assaulted a public official with a golf club at the Gangnam District Office in Seoul.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A on the charge of injury caused by obstruction of official duties on the 10th.
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of causing a disturbance by swinging a golf club at the first annex of the Gangnam District Office around 4 p.m. on the 8th. During the incident, a public official was hit on the chin by the golf club and required three stitches.
It was reported that the day before the incident, Mr. A visited the Gangnam District Office to file a complaint, asking "Why is only his car being targeted?" after being caught for illegal parking enforcement.
