Top Favorable Leader is UK Crown Prince William
A survey revealed that the American public rates William, the Prince of Wales, as the most highly regarded leader. In contrast, President Joe Biden received lower ratings than former President Donald Trump, drawing attention.
On the 9th (local time), the U.S. political media outlet Axios reported on a Gallup poll conducted from the 3rd to the 27th of last month, surveying 1,015 American adults on their favorability toward global leaders.

View original imageIn the survey, Prince William ranked first with a favorability rating of 59% and an unfavorability rating of 22%. Following him was Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with a favorability of 57% and an unfavorability of 29%, placing second.
Notably, Prince William's popularity was high among all Americans regardless of political affiliation.
Axios analyzed, "Among Republican supporters, 65% like Prince William, and among Democrats, 63%. Both Prince William and King Charles III enjoy high popularity (among Americans). It is rare for opinions to align so closely in American surveys."
Among American leaders, First Lady Jill Biden had a favorability of 49% and an unfavorability of 38%, while Chief Justice John Roberts ranked high with a favorability of 43% and an unfavorability of 37%.
On the other hand, the American public's evaluation of former and current presidents was poor. Both President Biden and former President Trump recorded a favorability of 41%, but their unfavorability ratings were 57% and 55%, respectively, indicating overall higher unfavorability.
In particular, President Biden was identified as the second most unfavorably viewed leader after Russian President Vladimir Putin (90%).

Potential future leading politicians also faced higher unfavorability. Vice President Kamala Harris had a net favorability score of -15 (favorability minus unfavorability), Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had -11, and Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy had -7, with all receiving more unfavorable than favorable responses.
