Hugel Appoints Han Sun-ho and Moon Hyung-jin as Vice Presidents and Co-CEOs

Hugel announced on the 9th that it held a board meeting and appointed Han Seon-ho and Moon Hyung-jin as Co-Representative Executive Officers.

Han Seon-ho, Co-Representative Executive Officer, will lead the 'Operations Division,' which encompasses ▲product manufacturing ▲sales and marketing ▲research and development. Moon Hyung-jin, Co-Representative Executive Officer, will oversee Hugel's business in North America, Australia, New Zealand, and China, as well as ▲product research and development ▲new business discovery, leading the 'Business Division,' which represents Hugel's future growth engines.

Han Seon-ho is a graduate of Korea University and a global sales and marketing expert who previously worked at Dong-A Pharmaceutical and Baxter Korea, and served as CEO of Syngenta Korea. Since joining Hugel in 2018, he has served as head of the Sales and Marketing Headquarters and CEO of Across, a related company specializing in hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers. He contributed to the growth of the botulinum toxin (BTX) product 'Botulax' and the HA filler 'The Chaeum.' Last year, he led the first-ever entry of the BTX product 'Retivo' (domestic product name Botulax) into the European market and expanded filler export routes to France, Spain, and Poland, significantly contributing to Hugel's global market expansion, according to the company.

Moon Hyung-jin is a graduate of Yonsei University College of Medicine and a medical aesthetic expert who served as Medical Advisor for Galderma Asia Pacific and acted as an academic professor at the International Master Course on Aging Science (IMCAS), one of the world's top three aesthetic surgery societies. Since joining Hugel in 2021, he has led the strengthening of Hugel's academic and R&D strategies through medical research and development (R&D), new business ventures, hosting global academic forums, and launching the academic network 'H-GEM (Hugel Global Expert Members).'

Han Seon-ho, Co-Representative Executive Officer, stated, "I will devote all my capabilities to further enhancing Hugel's competencies and value as a medical aesthetic specialist company." Moon Hyung-jin, Co-Representative Executive Officer, also pledged, "I will do my best to ensure Hugel continues to grow as a global leading company."
