Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) has completed preparations to welcome the Costa Rica delegation that left early from the Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree.
According to Guro-gu on the 9th, 50 scouts from Costa Rica will stay at the Dongyang Mirae University dormitory until the jamboree closing day on the 12th.
The district formed a support team, assigned dedicated officials, and decided to provide various conveniences such as accommodation and safety management during their stay.
Additionally, cultural experience programs linked to local resources, such as visits to Gwangmyeong Cave and K-pop dance experiences, will be operated.
On the morning of the 9th, Guro-gu Mayor Moon Heon-il visited Dongyang Mirae University to extend a welcome and words of encouragement to the scouts.
