Police Arrest Teen Who Threatened to "Kill as Many as Possible" in Yeonsinnae
A teenage student who threatened to commit murder in Yeonsinnae, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, was apprehended by the police.
On the 7th, the Eunpyeong Police Station in Seoul announced that they had urgently arrested a teenage student, identified as A, on the 5th on charges of intimidation.
Student A is suspected of posting a message on social networking services (SNS) stating, "I will kill as many people as possible near Yeonsinnae." The police received a report around 8 a.m. on the 5th and tracked A's identity, arresting him at his home.
During the police investigation, A reportedly stated that he posted the message as a joke. It was confirmed that A is not a juvenile offender exempt from criminal responsibility.
