A elementary school student who posted a warning about a potential weapon rampage at a school in Ulsan was apprehended on the 7th.
The Ulsan Police Agency received a report at 12:14 PM from Mr. A, who said, "It seems my son posted the problematic message."
The police went to Mr. A's home and confirmed that his teenage son, B, had posted the warning about a weapon rampage using a computer. B had posted in an online game chat room the previous afternoon, stating, "Tomorrow, there will be a knife attack at Ulsan 00 Elementary School." Someone who saw the message reported it to the police, prompting an investigation. The elementary school and its affiliated kindergarten were closed for the day on the 7th.
