Changwon Facilities Corporation Launches Seafood Consumption Promotion Campaign to Support Small Business Owners
On the 7th, Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam held a seafood consumption promotion campaign at Masan Fish Market to support local small business owners struggling due to weakened seafood consumption sentiment.
As seafood consumption sharply declined due to the ongoing heatwave and the discharge of contaminated water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant, the corporation organized this campaign to raise awareness about the safety of seafood and revitalize the local economy.
About 30 people, including Chairman Kim Jong-hae, headquarters directors, department heads, and employees, participated in the campaign that day.
The corporation’s executives and staff held placards with messages such as “Enjoy Our Safe Seafood with Confidence” and conducted a street campaign, followed by having lunch at restaurants within the fish market, enjoying dishes like mulhoe and hoe-deopbap.
Chairman Kim Jong-hae said, “I hope that active promotion of safe domestic seafood consumption will provide great support to small business owners who are facing difficulties.”
