Hosting 'Experience Activity to Learn About Yeojunggunsa Jang Gye-hyang' for Children and Adolescents
The Yeojunggunsa Jang Gye-hyang Seonyanghoe Yeongyang County Branch will conduct the "Getting to Know Yeojunggunsa Jang Gye-hyang Experience Activity" for about 100 children and adolescents in the district over four sessions starting from August 8, 2023, at the Jang Gye-hyang Cultural Experience Education Center.
This experience activity was prepared to properly inform children and adolescents in the district about the life and teachings of Yeojunggunsa Jang Gye-hyang and to reflect on the true value of our local traditional cultural assets.
The schedule for the experience activities includes lectures on the life and wisdom of Jang Gye-hyang, tea ceremony experiences, and etiquette experiences, held in August at Subi Daycare Center, in September at Yeongyang Daycare Center and Ipam Elementary School Attached Kindergarten, and in October at Yeongyang Girls' Middle School.

County Governor Oh Do-chang said, "I hope that the 'Getting to Know Yeojunggunsa Jang Gye-hyang Experience Activity' will serve as an opportunity for children and adolescents in the district to grow up properly and healthily," adding, "This program will be promoted annually for the children and adolescents in our region, so we ask for much interest and participation from local schools."
