Pakistan 'Ghazal' Performance... Held at National Museum of Korea on the 11th
The National Museum of Korea, in collaboration with the Embassy of Pakistan in Korea, will hold a commemorative performance titled "Rhythms of Pakistan Enjoyed at the Museum" on the 11th at 4:30 PM in the Open Yard of the National Museum of Korea. This is the second event as part of the museum culture platform project in cooperation with foreign missions in Korea, following the collaboration with the Embassy of Ecuador in Korea last October.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Pakistan, the museum has invited 'Ali Abbas,' a specialist performer of Ghazal, a traditional Pakistani music genre. The performance will showcase three traditional music genres: Sufi music, folk music, and Ghazal. Sufi music is religious music derived from Sufism, the Islamic mysticism; folk music represents the traditional music of Pakistani regions; and Ghazal is one of the most popular music genres across South Asia, including Pakistan.
