‘Hulk’ Bryson DeChambeau (USA) recorded a ‘dream 58’.
On the 6th (local time), he shot 12-under-par 58 in the final 3rd round of the LIV Golf Series 10th tournament, The Greenbrier (total prize money $25 million), held at Old White at Greenbrier (par 70, 7,236 yards) in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, USA. He racked up 13 birdies, including two sets of four consecutive birdies. The only blemish was a bogey on the 8th hole (par 4). This is the first 58 in LIV Golf history.

DeChambeau exclaimed, "I can't express it in words," calling it "the best moment of my life." He added with a big smile, "I felt really comfortable from the tee shot," and "Today is a very special day."
On the PGA Tour, Jim Furyk (USA) recorded 12-under-par 58 in the 4th round of the 2016 Travelers Championship, combining one eagle and ten birdies. In Japan, Ryo Ishikawa (Japan) shot 58 in the 4th round of the 2010 Junichi Crown, Kim Seong-hyun did so in the 4th round of the 2021 Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO) Golf Partner Pro-Am Tournament, and domestically, Heo Seong-hoon shot 58 in the 1st round of the qualifying for the 16th Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Srixon (2nd division) Tour last year.

DeChambeau surged with 12-under-par on the day to complete a 6-stroke victory (23-under-par 187). The winner’s prize money is $4 million (about 5.2 billion KRW). Mito Pereira (Chile) finished 2nd (17-under-par 193), Richard Bland (England) 3rd (16-under-par 194), Taylor Gooch 13th (13-under-par 197), and Phil Mickelson (all USA) ended the tournament in 26th place (8-under-par 202).
