70 Cumulative COVID-19 Cases During Jamboree Period
At the venue of the 25th World Scout Jamboree currently underway in Saemangeum, a total of 70 people have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19.
According to Jeonbuk Province on the 5th, from the 29th of last month until the day before, 70 COVID-19 cases (65 foreigners, 5 Koreans) were recorded within the Jamboree campsite. Among the confirmed cases, 64 have been admitted to living facilities, and 5 have returned home.

A Jeonbuk Province official stated, "A temporary screening clinic for infectious disease prevention is being operated within the campsite," adding, "Symptomatic individuals are immediately tested, and confirmed cases are either transferred to temporary living facilities for management or sent home."
