Gwangju Dong-gu Supports Vulnerable Groups with Summer Supplies
On the 4th, the Community Security Council of Sansu 2-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, announced that it provided 'cool summer supplies' to vulnerable groups affected by the heatwave.
Fans and summer blankets were delivered to 45 vulnerable households, including elderly living alone and low-income families vulnerable to the heatwave, and their well-being was checked.
Kim Jeong-sook, chairperson of the Community Security Council, said, "We provided summer supplies so that neighbors struggling with unprecedented heat can stay a little cooler and healthier," adding, "We will continue to practice love and sharing for neighbors in need within the community."
