Busan Port Authority (BPA) conducted a special safety and health inspection over five days from July 31 to August 4 at six major construction sites in Busan Port, including the upper facility construction of phases 2-5 at the Busan New Port South Container Terminal.

During this special inspection, BPA focused on checking compliance with the three major heat illness prevention rules (water, shade, rest) and also monitored the health status of workers engaged in tasks vulnerable to heat-related illnesses.
