Gyeonggi Office of Education Announces Personnel Changes for 1,575 Principals, Directors, Teachers, and Education Professionals Effective September 1
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education carried out personnel appointments for a total of 1,575 individuals, including principals, headmasters, vice principals, deputy headmasters, teachers, and education professionals, on the 4th.
Regarding this personnel appointment effective September 1, the Office of Education explained that the focus was on selecting and assigning capable leaders who will realize the values of autonomy, balance, and future, and vigorously lead the new Gyeonggi future education.
First, personnel appointments for education professionals include ▲7 superintendents ▲2 heads of affiliated institutions ▲6 department heads at the main office ▲8 directors at education support offices ▲19 supervisors at the main office ▲14 department heads at education support offices ▲9 heads and education researchers at affiliated institutions ▲74 transfers and reassignments of supervisors (education researchers) ▲89 new appointments of supervisors (education researchers), totaling 228 people.
Additionally, teacher personnel appointments include ▲24 transfers from supervisors (education researchers) to principals and headmasters ▲15 reassignments of principals and headmasters in mid-term ▲85 mid-term principals and headmasters ▲89 reassignments of principals and headmasters ▲17 promotions of public recruitment principals and headmasters upon term expiration ▲187 promotions to principals and headmasters ▲57 transfers from supervisors and education researchers to vice principals and deputy headmasters ▲49 reassignments of vice principals and deputy headmasters ▲236 promotions to vice principals and deputy headmasters ▲1 return (to position) of vice principal/deputy headmaster ▲19 transfers from supervisors and supervisors to teachers ▲4 appointments of veteran teachers ▲18 returns (to position) of teachers ▲1 reassignment of teachers ▲501 new teacher appointments.
Furthermore, to enhance school autonomy capabilities, 44 public recruitment principals directly selected by the school education community were also included in this personnel appointment.
