Gwangju Bank Conducts Plogging Activities Around Gwangjucheon Area
The Gwangju Bank Community Love Volunteer Group recently announced on the 4th that they carried out a 'Sseudam Running Volunteer Activity' around the Gwangjucheon area in Dongcheon-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
Sseudam Running is a Korean term replacing 'plogging,' an exercise that involves jogging while picking up trash.
The volunteer group, consisting of about 30 members including Gwangju Bank President Ko Byung-il and university student ambassadors, jogged along the citizen walking paths near Gwangjucheon and conducted environmental cleanup activities.
To also participate in the 'Citizen Participation Gwangjucheon Maintenance' project promoted by Gwangju City, they carried out landscape improvement activities such as weeding and watering flower paths created in the Gwangju Bank special management area.
