National Gwangju Science Museum, 5th Mass Art Contest Call for Entries
The National Gwangju Science Museum is accepting entries for the "5th Mass Art Contest" until the 3rd of next month.
The contest is divided into the general division (including university students) and the student division (elementary, middle, and high school students), and anyone can apply as long as the work is a math experience content or an artistic expression of mathematics.
There are no restrictions on the form of the work, such as physical models embodying mathematical principles, video art, or images.
One grand prize winner will receive the Minister of Science and ICT Award and a cash prize of 1.5 million KRW.
In addition, a total of 8 winners, including the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Award and the National Gwangju Science Museum Director Award, will receive cash prizes totaling approximately 3.9 million KRW.
All participants will be given an invitation ticket to the "2023 Art Science Festival" (free admission for 4 people to the permanent exhibition and AI pavilion).
The winning works will be exhibited during the Art Science Festival in October.
