BNK Busan Bank announced on the 4th that it will launch a special sale of the ‘Low-Carbon Practice Deposit,’ which offers preferential interest rates for engaging in eco-friendly activities.
The ‘Low-Carbon Practice Deposit’ is Busan Bank’s representative regional win-win eco-friendly financial product that provides preferential interest rates for low-carbon activities such as using public transportation, and allocates a portion of the special sale amount to a fund for environmental improvement projects in the Busan area.
The basic interest rate is 2.85%, with an additional special sale preferential interest rate of 0.70 percentage points, and up to 0.40 percentage points for low-carbon practice activities, allowing for a maximum annual interest rate of 3.95%. The subscription period is one year, with a minimum subscription amount of 10 million KRW, and the sales limit is 500 billion KRW. Sales will continue until December 31 of this year and will end early if the limit is reached.
Low-carbon practice activities that provide preferential interest rates include ▲0.1 percentage points for credit/debit card public transportation usage ▲0.1 percentage points for participation in the Carbon Point System ▲0.1 percentage points for owning an eco-friendly vehicle ▲0.1 percentage points for eco-friendly company certification, among others.
