Humidity Expected to Increase After Rain in Saemangeum
On Friday the 4th, the scorching heat will continue nationwide with temperatures rising to the mid-30s Celsius. The daytime high temperatures are expected to reach 35 degrees in Seoul, 37 degrees in Daegu, and 36 degrees in Cheongju, Jeonju, and Gwangju. The nationwide morning low temperatures will range from 23 to 29 degrees, with daytime highs forecasted between 32 and 37 degrees.
The area around Haseo-myeon, Buan-gun, Jeonbuk, where the '2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree' is being held, will also see daytime temperatures rise to 34 degrees, continuing the heat. Although clouds are expected to gather in the afternoon with showers forecasted, temperatures are expected to quickly rise again after the rain stops, resulting in continued hot and humid conditions.

Fog is expected mainly over the Yellow Sea and the South Sea, so caution is advised for maritime safety. Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the Yellow Sea and South Sea coastal waters.
