'Elemental' Surpasses 6 Million Viewers... First Time Since 'Frozen 2'
Word-of-Mouth Comeback Momentum... Highest-Grossing Anime in 4 Years
Disney·Pixar's animated film 'Elemental' has recorded the highest box office among foreign films released this year.
According to the distributor Walt Disney Company Korea on the 3rd, 'Elemental' attracted a cumulative audience of 6,000,575 at 12:47 PM on the integrated ticketing system of the Korean Film Council.
This is the first time in four years since 'Frozen 2' (2019), which drew 13.75 million viewers, that an animated film released domestically has attracted over 6 million viewers.
Released on June 14 and now in its eighth week, 'Elemental' continues to steadily draw audiences, maintaining a daily attendance of around 100,000.
