"Do Not Use Disposable Products" ... Sanggil Lee, EXCO President, Joins Challenge
On the 3rd, Lee Sang-gil, CEO of EXCO, pledged to actively reduce single-use products in daily life by participating in the ‘Single-Use Products ZERO Challenge.’
The ‘Single-Use Products ZERO Challenge’ is a campaign initiated by the Ministry of Environment in February, where participants post photos on social networking services (SNS) showing a hand gesture symbolizing zero single-use products, then nominate the next participant to join the relay-style challenge.
Lee Sang-gil, CEO of EXCO, joined the challenge after being nominated by Son Won-young, head of Daegu Nonghyup, and nominated Son Tae-rak, president of the Korea Real Estate Board, as the next relay participant.
Through this campaign, CEO Lee urged EXCO employees to practice reducing single-use products by using tumblers instead of paper cups and utilizing scrap paper, and to participate in reducing carbon emissions. In particular, EXCO, as a leading regional exhibition and convention center, is striving to reduce the use of single-use products during various event operations and encourages partner companies and stakeholders to actively participate.
