Blade Ent-Parasta ENT Join Hands... Striving to Discover and Nurture Disabled Broadcasters
Blade Entertainment is taking the lead in media barrier-free initiatives by partnering with Parasta Entertainment.
On the 2nd, Blade Entertainment (hereinafter Blade, CEO Hong Sang-hyeok) and Parasta Entertainment (hereinafter Parasta, CEO Cha Haeri) signed an MOU. Blade and Parasta will join hands to collaborate on discovering broadcasters with disabilities and producing barrier-free content and events, based on their combined technological capabilities, infrastructure, and know-how.
This MOU was established to discover and nurture broadcasters with disabilities, who have had limited exposure in the media until now. Additionally, they aim to produce barrier-free video content and host events such as barrier-free festivals. Both companies expect this to be an opportunity to communicate with the public about disabilities through fresh and interesting approaches that have not been presented before.
Parasta CEO Cha Haeri stated, “We are currently nurturing a hearing-impaired idol who sings in sign language. We had a strong desire for know-how in idol training, and I am grateful that Blade has willingly promised consultation and technical support.”
Blade CEO Hong Sang-hyeok said, “I believe that K-pop and K-culture should be enjoyed by everyone regardless of disability status,” adding, “We sincerely support this new attempt and will do our best to create synergy by sharing Blade’s accumulated management know-how.”
Blade is a global comprehensive entertainment company representing many acclaimed lead and supporting actors who have gained worldwide popularity in films, dramas, and OTT content, including Kang Shin-il, Jung Seok-yong, Lee Gyu-han, Wang Ji-won, and Jin Ye.
