Hana Bank Labor and Management Support Summer Relief for Underprivileged Groups in Chungnam Region
Donation and Various Supplies Delivered for Heatwave Preparedness
Hana Bank's labor and management, together with the Chungcheongnam-do Public Officials Labor Union, are providing various supplies to help elderly living alone and vulnerable groups in the Chungcheong region endure the heat.
On the 2nd, Hana Bank's labor and management announced that they delivered donations and donated goods to the social welfare corporation Cheongrohoe. This is with the intention of supporting marginalized groups in the local community through the Cheongro Elderly Comprehensive Welfare Center in Hongseong, Chungnam.
Cheongrohoe is a community-centered social welfare organization that started in 1995 with a youth shelter, and to date, about 800 people in the area, including the homeless, elderly living alone, and disadvantaged youth, use Cheongrohoe's facilities.
The donations will be used for marginalized groups in the region, such as elderly living alone, runaway youth, and homeless people exhausted by the summer monsoon and heat waves. Additionally, happiness boxes containing essential daily items for a comfortable summer life, as well as basic food supplies such as rice and ramen prepared by the Chungcheongnam-do Public Officials Labor Union, were also delivered.
