Jo In-sung Invites Rare Disease and Physical Disability Patients to 'Milsu' Premiere Screening
Actor Jo In-sung used invitation tickets for the movie 'Smuggling' to benefit youth with rare diseases, physically disabled youth, and their families.
According to his agency OK Company on the 2nd, Jo In-sung invited a total of about 30 people, including youth with rare diseases and their families, physically disabled youth and their families, and youth and social workers from a childcare center located in Gangdong-gu, to the 'Smuggling' preview screening held on the 18th of last month.
Jo In-sung invited youth aged 15 and older and their families in accordance with the movie's viewing rating, and the agency explained that he used all the invitation tickets allocated to him for this purpose. On that day, the actors from the movie gave a stage greeting.
A representative from the Rare and Intractable Disease Association said, "It was a joyful and precious experience for the patients' families who face many restrictions due to illness and caregiving, making cultural activities difficult," adding, "It was a great gift for the children to see the actors up close."
They continued, "Watching a movie while using a wheelchair is not easy in itself, but thanks to the consideration of allowing us to watch from the front row, all the patients enjoyed it."
