Awarded the Seoktap Industrial Medal ... Baek Sang-tae, CEO of Shinhan Hangup from Subi-myeon, Yeongyang-gun
The Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business held the "2023 Gyeonggi Small and Medium Business Entrepreneurs Conference" on the 25th at Gwanggyo Hall on the 1st floor of the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency.
On this day, awards were presented to small and medium business entrepreneurs in Gyeonggi Province, with Bae Sang-tae, CEO of Shinhan Hangup, who hails from Suhari, Subi-myeon, Yeongyang-gun, receiving the Coal Industry Medal.
CEO Bae Sang-tae joined a mapping company in 1979 and has dedicated over 40 years to participating in more than 250 government projects, contributing to the development of the geographic information industry. He established a research institute to incorporate advanced technology into map production and conducted various studies.
He also successfully completed the largest number of projects domestically in the African resource spatial information construction project and spatial information projects in various Asian countries, enhancing the reliability of South Korea's spatial information technology.
CEO Bae graduated from Subi Elementary School (37th class), attended Yeongyang Middle and High Schools, and graduated from the Department of Marine Civil Engineering at Catholic Kwandong University. He is currently the CEO of Shinhan Hangup.
As a self-made entrepreneur, he has continued various activities for Yeongyang-gun, including social contributions for regional development and consistent donation activities.
