The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education's request for the establishment of three new schools has passed the central investment review, strengthening policies for alleviating overcrowded schools and timely school establishment.
On the 31st, the Office announced that all three schools?Hoecheon 3 Elementary School, Dongtan 8 Middle School, and Misa 4 High School?successfully passed the Ministry of Education's 2023 regular 3rd central investment review.
In particular, Misa 4 High School, which passed this central investment review, achieved success by thoroughly examining the natural increase trend of the school-age population in Hanam City and actively explaining this to the investment review committee.
Han Geun-su, Director of the School Establishment Planning Division at the Provincial Office of Education, stated, "The consecutive 100% pass rate in the central investment reviews is the result of the Office's determination and efforts to resolve overcrowded schools," adding, "We will continue to strive to ensure timely school establishment through ongoing system improvements and cooperation with local governments."
