Gurye-gun Signs Business Agreement for Happy Dream Cultural Experience
Nature Dream Signs Happy Dream Cultural Experience Agreement with Elderly Association Gurye Branch
On July 31, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do, announced that it signed a business agreement for the '2023 Happy Dream Cultural Experience' with Gurye Nature Dream Park (Director Kim Do-hee) and the Korea Senior Citizens Association Gurye Branch (President Son Byung-kwan) at the county office governor's office.
The three organizations joined forces to expand mutual exchanges within the region and enhance welfare for the elderly. The 2023 Happy Dream Cultural Experience is scheduled to be held 10 times from August to October.
Through the 2023 Happy Dream Cultural Experience, 320 local elderly and users of the Welfare Center for the Disabled will be provided with opportunities such as tours of the Gurye Nature Dream Park workshop, movie screenings, and restaurant meals.
The cultural experience project fund of 10 million won is sponsored by the Nature Dream Seed Foundation. The Korea Senior Citizens Association Gurye Branch supports participant management to ensure the smooth operation of the Happy Dream Cultural Experience activities.
Governor Kim Soon-ho said, "I thank Director Kim Do-hee of Gurye Nature Dream Park for sponsoring elderly welfare in the region and President Son Byung-kwan of the Korea Senior Citizens Association Gurye Branch for promising cooperation to ensure the smooth progress of cultural experience activities," adding, "We will strive to activate various cultural experiences to improve the quality of life for the elderly in the region."
