Gyeonggi Job Foundation Launches Semiconductor Process Engineer Training Program
Announcement for Recruitment of Semiconductor Process Trainees at Gyeonggi-do Future Technology School
View original imageThe Gyeonggi-do Future Technology School, operated by the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, is recruiting 25 trainees for the 3rd class of the 'Semiconductor Process Engineer' course until the 21st of next month.
This training course, focused on theory and practical training related to semiconductor processes and equipment, will be held for 40 days at Daelim University.
The main training contents include ▲Understanding the 8 major semiconductor processes and cleanroom safety training ▲Semiconductor process practice ▲Project-based practice projects ▲On-the-job training by current professionals ▲Special lectures by Samsung Electronics practitioners.
Tuition and textbook fees are fully covered, and trainees who attend more than 80% of the monthly classes will receive a training allowance of 400,000 KRW per month.
Eligibility for application is Gyeonggi-do residents aged 19 or older as of the training start date, September 4, who are currently unemployed.
Applications can be submitted through the 'Jobaba Apply' app until August 21.

Nam Un-seon, Head of the Northern Business Division of the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "Training semiconductor industry talent is one of the key projects of the 8th Gyeonggi-do administration," adding, "We will do our best to nurture excellent semiconductor talent and ensure that semiconductor specialists are appropriately connected in preparation for the 4th industrial transformation."
