According to the county on the 31st, this project provided support for 80% of the air purifier cost per salon (20% self-payment), up to a maximum of 700,000 KRW, targeting beauty salons that have been in business for more than five years since their business registration date. Priority support was given to salons with excellent public hygiene service evaluations and those that regularly participated in beauty volunteer work at local social welfare facilities.
The county has completed cost support for air purifiers for 21 beauty salons that wished to participate and plans to provide additional support for five more salons.
Jo Hyun-sook, president of the Muan-gun branch of the Beauty Association, said, “Due to the nature of the work, hair and other debris fly around, making ventilation difficult in beauty salons during the summer. We are grateful for the support that allows us to provide hygienic and pleasant services.”
Governor Kim San said, “I hope this project will improve the poor working environment of beauty salons, increase customer satisfaction, and contribute to the health and income growth of business owners.”
