Changwon Special City Appoints Kim Jeong-min, Nuclear Power Finance Policy Officer Dispatched from Korea Development Bank
Continuing the Policy to Normalize the Nuclear Industry
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 31st that Kim Jeong-min, the new Nuclear Power Finance Policy Officer, will be dispatched from the Korea Development Bank and begin work on August 1.
In July last year, Changwon City signed a business agreement with the Korea Development Bank to strengthen the competitiveness of the nuclear power industry ecosystem and decided to establish a permanent cooperation channel through the dispatch of specialized bank staff. Accordingly, former Nuclear Power Finance Policy Officer Jo Il-lae resided in the city for the past year, greatly contributing to the normalization of the nuclear industry by networking with financial institutions, analyzing financial support programs, and providing financial consulting to related companies.
The newly appointed Officer Kim joined the Korea Development Bank in 1992 and has worked at the bank’s Moscow office, Gimhae branch, and Yangsan branch, as well as having experience on secondment at various private companies.
Officer Kim will support Changwon City's projects for one year, including advising on project execution, providing financial support and consulting to nuclear power companies, and promoting industrial policy fund development projects. Additionally, he will facilitate communication between Changwon City and the Korea Development Bank and provide financial advisory services related to current projects.
