Fire at Gimhae Factory... Helicopters and Heavy Equipment Deployed for Extinguishing
Firefighters and heavy equipment operators are working together to extinguish the fire.

A fire broke out at a factory in Saengnim-myeon, Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam, at around 5:41 a.m. on the 31st, prompting firefighters to respond.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, the fire started in a warehouse that had not been used for some time but was used to store rubber raw materials.
At the scene, 93 firefighters were deployed, and firefighting equipment such as fire trucks and water tanks, as well as heavy machinery including firefighting helicopters and excavators, were mobilized.

A fire official stated, "So far, there have been no casualties, but the fire broke out in an area covered with steel structures, causing a lot of smoke," and added, "We will do our best to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading."
