Defect Repair System Overhaul: 'Processing Within 24 Hours'
"Residents should not be inconvenienced, so please do your best at every moment to ensure that defect repairs are handled promptly." (Lee Hee-beom, Chairman of Booyoung Group)
"It is time to concentrate the company's full capabilities on defect repair. Please complete the defect repairs quickly and reliably." (Choi Yang-hwan, CEO of Booyoung Housing)
As Booyoung Group revamped its defect repair system, Chairman Lee Hee-beom and CEO Choi Yang-hwan took the lead on-site. Even headquarters staff have been dispatched company-wide to the field to take the lead in prompt defect repair.

CEO Choi also visited sites in the metropolitan area to urge employees to prioritize safety and prompt defect repairs.
As the largest rental housing operator in Korea, Booyoung Group completely revamped its defect repair system in June, operating under the principle of "defects handled within 24 hours." This is a step beyond the existing system, including construction site management and rapid defect reporting methods.
In the past, residents had to report defects through the customer center and wait. But now, if they call or visit the management office to report, the site manager and branch manager directly confirm and receive the defect report and take action with the principle of same-day repair. Defects that can be handled on the day of reporting include lighting fixtures, home automation systems, digital door locks, intercoms, switches, clogged drains, toilets, sinks, water supply and drainage, and bathroom accessories. Defects requiring specialized personnel are scheduled to be handled within a week.
Additionally, the areas where complexes are located have been subdivided in detail, and defect repair service contracts are first issued to local companies, contributing to revitalizing the local economy and enhancing shared growth values. Booyoung Group explained that implementing a regional responsibility system speeds up defect repair processing, minimizing residents' inconvenience as quickly as possible.
A Booyoung Group official said, "Based on the founding philosophy of founder Lee Joong-geun that 'the purpose of a house is not ownership but residence,' we are striving to create 'livable homes.' With this defect repair system overhaul, we aim to dispel misunderstandings related to defects inherent in the rental housing business and provide a residential environment that satisfies residents, becoming a 'customer-serving company.'"
