A Man in His 30s Arrested for Assaulting an Acquaintance to Death Over Game Money Debt
On the 30th, the Yeosu Police Station in Jeollanam-do booked A (30) without detention on charges of injury resulting in death for killing a man he met while playing an online game by hitting him with a stone.
A is accused of hitting B (31) multiple times with a stone at a drowsy rest area on a car-only road in Yeosu City around 11:40 PM the previous day, causing B's death.
Police investigation revealed that they met through an online game and got into a verbal dispute over debts such as game money, which escalated into mutual assault.
After B died during the mutual assault, A reported the incident to the police himself and was transported to a nearby hospital.
A is currently reported to be unconscious.
