20 Million KRW in Sponsorship Funds Donated to Support the Living Stability of Low-Income Children, Adolescents, and Pregnant Women
Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) signed a business agreement called ‘The Beginning of Gwangjin Miracle’ with SC First Obstetrics & Gynecology (Director Hong Jae-sik) to promote a culture of donation and support low-income groups.
This agreement was prepared to spread a culture of sharing and help neighbors in need within the community. The public and private sectors will join forces to conduct regular donation campaigns, and the sponsorship funds will be used for vulnerable families facing difficulties in childbirth and child-rearing.
In particular, a new donation project called ‘First Donation for Newborns’ will be launched. When a regular donation is applied for under the name of a baby born at SC First Obstetrics & Gynecology or their parents, the hospital will support a certain amount of the initial donation.
This initiative is intended to celebrate the birth of a child while providing an opportunity to participate in continuous donation activities. Donor families will be awarded donation certificates to foster pride and a sense of fulfillment.
The agreement ceremony held at Gwangjin-gu Office on the 27th was attended by Mayor Kim Kyung-ho and Director Hong Jae-sik of SC First Obstetrics & Gynecology. SC First Obstetrics & Gynecology donated 20 million KRW to the Gwangjin Welfare Foundation, and the received sponsorship funds will be used to support the living stability of low-income children, adolescents, and pregnant women.
