[Concall] Samsung Electronics "Automotive Memory to Grow Mid-to-High 30% Annually"
Samsung Electronics stated in a conference call held after announcing its Q2 earnings on the 27th, "The automotive memory market is expected to grow annually by an average of the high 30% range in terms of value over the next five years," adding, "We see it becoming a larger business opportunity than PC applications in the early 2030s and are continuously strengthening our business competitiveness."
They also said, "After eight years in the automotive semiconductor business without a single supply issue, we have built trust with major customers and have now entered all major OEMs and Tier One companies," and predicted, "We will continue to strengthen our leadership in the automotive market by collaborating with customers based on competitive products."
