NS Home Shopping is strengthening its seafood radiation safety inspections by partnering with RM Tech, a company specializing in radiation analysis and disaster prevention.

View original imageOn the 27th, NS Home Shopping announced that it signed a business agreement on the 25th at RM Tech's headquarters in Gwangju Metropolitan City to enhance the safety of seafood radiation.
NS Home Shopping explained, "RM Tech is a company that develops radiation measurement equipment and radiation disaster prevention systems using radiation measurement devices. It is a small but strong company recognized for its expertise in the nuclear and radiation industry sectors." It added, "It holds high reliability in the field of food radiation analysis, having been designated as a testing and inspection agency by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety."
At the signing ceremony, NS Home Shopping and RM Tech agreed to cooperate on radiation inspection services for seafood products to alleviate customer concerns and strengthen the safety of seafood products.
According to the agreement, the two companies will ensure seafood radiation safety by ▲ conducting continuous radiation inspections on products sold monthly ▲ tracking long-term results even after radiation inspections ▲ providing the same level of service to small and medium-sized NS partner companies.
NS Home Shopping plans to leverage RM Tech's advanced technology and expertise through this agreement to ease customers' radiation concerns, secure customer trust, and contribute to the revitalization of seafood consumption. The two companies aim to create synergy for enhancing food safety through the exchange of physical resources, experience, and diverse information.

Meanwhile, NS Home Shopping is strengthening internal and external cooperation activities to improve food safety and quality management, such as presenting its own research results at the '2023 Korean Society of Food Science and Technology International Conference' through its NS Shopping Food Safety Research Institute and signing a business agreement with Harim Central Research Institute.
