Pukyong National University Yeongnam Sea Grant Center Hosts "Ocean Safety! Our Safety" Event
The Yeongnam Sea Grant Center at Pukyong National University held the event "Safety of the Sea! Our Safety" over two days, on the 21st and 22nd, at Amir Park in Yeongdo, Busan.
This event was held as a side event of the 2023 International Maritime Film Festival, where the Yeongnam Sea Grant Center conducted exhibitions and experiential activities for citizens regarding the current state of marine environmental pollution and methods for protecting the marine environment.

During the two days, the center introduced itself and displayed achievement materials, and conducted programs including ▲ screening videos related to the paralytic shellfish poisoning biological monitoring system research ▲ exhibiting oyster shell recycling artificial reef panels ▲ microplastic observation ▲ microplastic quizzes.
The Pukyong National University Yeongnam Sea Grant Center carries out the Marine Korea Development Program (Sea Grant) of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and promotes regional issue research and public service projects aimed at training fisheries professionals and advancing marine fisheries in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam.
