"Looking for Carbon Neutrality Practitioners"... Yongin City, Recruiting Groups for Public Project
Applications Accepted Until the 28th in Three Categories
Yongin Special City is recruiting organizations to participate in the 2023 Carbon Neutral Lifestyle Practice Contest Project to raise awareness of carbon neutrality and encourage green practices until the 28th.
Carbon neutrality is the concept of minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and offsetting or removing the remaining greenhouse gases through forests and other means to achieve a net zero emission level.
The recruitment categories include ▲Training senior carbon neutrality story activists ▲Yongin Carbon Neutral 100-Person Challenge ▲Non-industrial sector greenhouse gas diagnosis consulting project.
The "Training Senior Carbon Neutral Story Activists" category is a project to train storytelling grandmothers through carbon neutrality fairy tale narration education, supporting up to 20 million KRW for lectures and teaching material development.
The "Yongin Carbon Neutral 100-Person Challenge" involves 100 citizens taking on monthly tasks on various themes and sharing their activity results on social networking services (SNS). A budget of 7.5 million KRW is allocated for this category.
The "Non-industrial Sector Greenhouse Gas Diagnosis Consulting" category provides 8 million KRW in support. It trains consultants who conduct energy diagnoses and other activities to reduce greenhouse gases in homes, shops, schools, etc., and promotes carbon neutral lifestyle practices and campaigns.
As of the announcement date, non-profit private organizations or corporations with their main office in Yongin City and experience in carbon neutrality activities or environmental education are eligible to participate.
Organizations or corporations wishing to participate can download the application form from the city hall website and submit it by visit, registered mail, or email (godsjs@korea.kr).
