Kimhae Traffic Signal Waiting Academy Vehicle Collision Causes Three-Car Pileup
At around 1:16 PM on the 24th, three vehicles collided on a road near Gayago High School in Naedong, Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam.
According to the police on the 25th, a van traveling toward Samgye-dong on this road rear-ended a hagwon van waiting at a traffic signal, and the hagwon van, pushed forward by the impact, collided with a sports utility vehicle (SUV) in front.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the van in their 70s sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, but one elementary school student riding in the hagwon vehicle and the drivers of the other two vehicles were reported to be unharmed.
